I loved Ryder and Alaina’s love story in Hot Limit by Lynn Raye Harris, book seven in her Hostile Operations Team: Strike Team Two series. Waking up in his new water front home Ryder finds a body floating in the lake outside. Fortunately the body is still alive and his training kicks in. Without thinking about it Ryder ‘Muffin’ Hanson dives in to rescues the unconscious woman; bringing her back into his house to warm her up. Wow, excellent story!! Brutally attacked and left for dead, Alaina moved in with ex seal Ryder after he saves her and finds out she needs his protection still. This is definitely a heart wrecking story. Alaina needed to rebuild herself after the attack and many emotions come up let alone her degree of safety when danger nears. She feels safe with him. Well done full of danger, suspense intense moments but most of all romance. These characters really paved the way to grip me and held me captive. It was so well written with an amazing plot. Well done!!

Gripping from the beginning, it didn't take long for me to be completely invested in the outcome of this story. The intrigue regarding who the culprit was in Alaina's attack had me on my toes...I didn't see who it was coming at first! I loved the fall of not only Ryan for Alaina and vice versa, but how Ryan fell for Everett, the adorable little boy just needing a father figure in his life. With crazy twists and turns, danger, and gripping suspense this story was terrific.
