What a ride hahaha! Definitely of the insta-lust variety, there's a greater focus on the sudden bond than the backstory, but still enough to keep you engaged and interested in the characters. This is my first Grace Goodwin book I think? Held up well as a standalone, but had a sense you'd get more out of it if you'd read the series in order. Still, satisfying enough ending. Docked a star for length and the odd editing/grammar error, but honestly didn't detract much. Dual POV, little suspense, steamy scenes, and HEA.

This is a whole new world but it incorporates modern things like a reality TV show with the paranormal and sci-fi themes. Wulf has resigned to not finding his mate, until he does. It's not easy but the story flows well and it's funny, sweet, and sexy! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Did I just *enjoy* an "Interstellar Brides" book? ...Yes. Yes, I think I did. I've been reading this series from the start & this is only the second book I've truly enjoyed - & the first I've seriously considered keeping in my order history instead of deleting it. (Don't ask me why I keep reading a series I don't like; I have no idea other than some masochistic urge to see how bad it can get.) I suspect it helps that the male lead is an Atlan, the one Coalition race I can sort of tolerate. Also, it's hilarious to see one of these self-righteously "honourable" aliens getting flummoxed by humans & Warden Egara is actually sympathetic for once.
