My Review: Another cracker of a read by the fabulous Shalini Boland. I have read almost every single book by this author and she sure does not disappoint. I have loved every book I read by her and all of them have kept me guessing the whole time. I can’t wait to read her next book. I want to start off by saying how great this author is. Her books keep you in suspense and you never know what twist is at the next corner. I never thought I would fall in love with an author as much as I have with her. I can’t wait to read her books and I will not stop until I’m done with the book. My whole world ends when I read one of her books. Now on to the actual book. I really liked this one. It was definitely one of my favorites by her. The whole book was based on revenge and who doesn’t love a story about that. I know there are a few people that I would love to get back at. This book was very relatable and that’s one of the reasons I loved it so much. I also loved that twist of an ending. I couldn’t believe who was the mastermind behind everything. Never would have guessed it and why. The why is always the most important for me. The ending wrapped up nicely and there were no loose ends which I loved. I can’t wait to read more by Shalini Boland. Between the plot, characters and all the twists in this book it made it an easy and fast read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

“Our new home was supposed to be a chance to leave our past behind. But was moving here the worst mistake of our lives?” The Couple Upstairs is another belter of a read from Shalini Boland that is fast paced, suspenseful and will have you reading long into the night. It is stories like these that make me glad that I don’t socialise with my neighbours, only exchanging a quick hello if we happen to cross paths. For Nina and Zac, buying their first home together should be a joyous occasion, but right from the get go things start to go wrong. As the story progresses more and more things start to happen which really starts to put a strain on the once happy and carefree couple. Someone is out to destroy them, but why? The characters have been well crafted and developed. My heart went out to Nina and she is really put through the wringer. It also wouldn’t be a Shalini Boland book if there wasn’t a good twist thrown in and once again she has delivered. The Couple Upstairs is another example of whatever Shalini Boland touches, turns to gold. Perfectly plotted and executed, if you are looking for a tense and gripping read then look no further. You get this and so more with this outstanding read!

BLOG TOUR REVIEW Review for 'The Couple Upstairs' by Shalini Boland. Read and reviewed via NetGalley for Shalini Boland, Bookouture publishers and Bookouture anonymous Publication date 13th September 2021. This is the fifth book I have read by this author. I have previously read 'The Other Daughter', 'The Wife', 'One Of Us Is Lying and 'My Little Girl' which I highly recommend. I was originally drawn to this book by its eye catching cover and its intriguing synopsis and title. The synopsis stated that this book is 'Perfect for fans of The Girl on the Train, Gone Girl and The Wife Between Us.' I am a huge fan of 'Gone Girl' so am looking forward to seeing if this lives up to this statement. I am also a huge fan of Shalini and if this is half as good as 'The Other Daughter', 'The Wife', 'One Of Us Is Lying and 'My Little Girl' it is sure to be a page turning read. I must admit I was also biased due to the publisher being Bookouture. I have yet to read a book published by Booko
