Allie Nighthawk is Anita Blake on steroids, with a fondness for leather and Jack on the rocks. She has a healthy dose of Stephanie Plum and Rachel Morgan in her, too, though she’d never admit it.
The battle between good and evil just got wicked fun.

I don't know what happened here. I downloaded this free book by accident and started reading it while waiting for my Covid vaccine. It didn't register it was about zombies until the first corpse went splat. I don't read books about zombies - until now! The book is fast paced and has a lot of really icky bits of zushi but the characters draw you in and keep you reading to the last word. I liked it so much I bought book 2 and now I'm heading back to buy the prequel.

A good book, full of mystery. Defiantly for an older audience because of the high amount of swearing, so I give it 4 stars.
