About this ebook

A modern-day retelling of the Greek Myth of Selene and Endymion.

He was the sun, and she was the moon. A love like theirs was never destined to last.

Selene Drake has always been the girl that blends into the background.

The wallflower.

Quiet.

Unnoticed.

Sweet as can be.

It never bothered her, she preferred slinking into the shadows.

When she first laid eyes on Endymion Black, she fell irrevocably in love with him.

The bad boy.

Cold.

Distant.

Handsome as ever.

For years, she pined after the unattainable boy who had somehow burrowed his way into her heart.

Until everything changed.

One unforgettable night bridled with passion and forbidden lust destroyed her naïve heart and reshaped her innocent soul. It sent her fleeing from the only town she'd ever truly known.

Six years later, Selene is back in Dunsmuir and the boy she spent years loving in silence, has now turned into a man. A man with his sights set on her. Somehow, the tables have turned, and this time around, he's the one doing the chasing, determined to claim her heart as his. Only, he doesn't realize, she has a secret of her own.

One with the potential to change their lives forever.

Chasing the Moon is a full-length standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA.

“Chasing The Moon” is a standalone romance by the best selling author S.M. Soto. Told in dual perspectives, this book is the modern retelling of a greek mythology and has all the damn feels!! Since the moment I read HATE THY NEIGHBOUR by this author , I have always been a die hard fan of hers! The way she molds the story with a killer plot line and always gives the best emotions through her books is what makes them so special for me. This book had a certain sort of spark , that some rare books have. A spark that keeps you hooked into the story and doesn’t let you go until you reach the last page! To say in short , this book was utterly perfect in every damn way! Selene is the cutest and innocent character that I have read. The first time she saw Endymion Black was when she was a mere child. Standing in the grocery store with her , she thought that he was the most beautiful boy she had seen. Not That he noticed her back. And she wasn’t the only one smitten with the new boy in town. Several other girls had their sights on him and were not letting him go. For years she pined after him , went where he went , in hopes that someday he would notice him. But he never did. That is until night everything changed. Selene got what she wanted or for it to be ripped away from her arms in such a ruthless way. So she ran away. Now after years she is back and with her comes a huge secret that might just destroy or bind both her and Endymion’s lives. For years she was the Moon and He was the Sun. She was the one chasing him, but this time things will be different. It is time for the Sun to chase the Moon. Endymion Black was a newbie in town. He hated the attention he got. All he wanted was to leave the town and live in peace. That is until he met the little girl who was obsessed with moons. From her moon shaped bag to her moon shaped necklace , everything about her was pretty and Innocent. She was the only one who believed in him. She thought he never noticed her , but he didn’t know how to tell her that he did. So much! That is until she went away. Years went away and Soon Endymoin forgot the girl obsessed with the moon. But now she is back and now he is not letting her go. Why had he never noticed how pretty she was before?? This time he was going to make her his. But Selene has a secret. A secret so big , that it could change his whole life and make him hate her in the end. This book had me hooked right from the start! It is practically impossible for anyone to not read this book in one sitting. The raw way in which Selene pined for a boy who never noticed her , had me blinking back tears! This author is the true master of manipulating people's emotions and she did an amazing job in this one! Selene and Endymion are gonna stay with me forever and I am definitely going to do a re-read of this book. It is just that perfect! A definite recommendation to all the contemporary romance lovers out there!

Loved this book to the moon and back! 5 stars This book pulled me in right away, and as I kept reading I was enveloped by this author’s words and the story and characters she created. I related to Selene and her crush on Endymion at the beginning and how that crush can break your heart. End disappointed me then my heart really broke for her at his actions. End was drawn to Selene after her time away, and their chemistry was undeniable. I was rooting for them so hard, because they had a magnetic pull between them! After mistakes were made and secrets come out, can they work? When the secret did come out, I cried for both Selene and End. I understood his anger, but could he get past it? Selene had a “good heart and sweet soul.” She admittedly made mistakes but was relatable, and I fell for her like End did. End was possessive, passionate, smart, swoon-worthy, and I adored him. There was one more cry-fest towards the end of the book that gutted me. This book took me on a emotional ride of full of angsty feels and second-chance love that I loved to the moon and back! *I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.*
