Fallen Star

A good read but several typos which were confusing. Suddenly someone named Mitchell became involved when the giant bear killed Clive the baddie. Then when McLean & female deputy were fighting the birds after rescuing the 2 boys camping, Grant was being referred to but he was elsewhere.

I love Sci-fi and this is one of the most plausible story lines I've read. As a military veteran, the characters from that element are spot-on. I'm also a lover of linguistic differences so trying to match the characters with an appropriate nuance while I read makes this book more life-like, too.

This was a page turner. Once you start you can not put it down. It has action, adventure, murder and monsters. A great twist on area 51, and government coverups. Kudos to the author and his imagination. Still needs a little editing but over all a great read.
