Good Start
This book was fun to read. A good start to a series now interested to see where the Paranormal Council books go.
A love that can’t be denied.
The Dryad’s Pawprint (The Paranormal Council, #1) by Laura Greenwood
This is a short story, the first in The Paranormal Council series, but definitely can be read as a standalone. Although, on finishing the book, it is impossible not to be curious as to where the other books to will lead.
This first book, “The Dryad’s Pawprint” is a short story covering the couple Kem and Lia, a match made in heaven. The storyline sets the scene from the offset of this good-looking, intelligent pair. Neither of them can deny the attraction that simmers beneath the surface, threatening to erupt, but each of them painfully aware that a relationship would go against what is expected of them.
Although this is a quick read, this first book lays down the foundation of their story. It left me with several questions and wanted to know more about the couple, fuller details about how they met and what happened during their time apart. I can only hope to discover them again in the future!
Laure Greenwood’s writing is clear and concise, with an amazing book cover that lures the reader, and who can resist a shifter romance? I definitely recommend it for lovers of this genre, who want to discover a romance that fights for love.
