After her husband leaves her for a younger women,, Amelia Harley 44, who has never worked before has a plan. With help and advice from her two teenage children she starts her on food truck business. The Pink Cupcake. Where she bakes and sells cupcakes. Her ex is not very happy with this decision. Mystery and murder soon follow. As always Harper Lin has written another great read! I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

Struggling divorced mother with amazing kids and a dumbass ex-husband solving crimes with no experience. Read the ex-CIA Grandma series first. It's more believable. Although the story is well written, Amelia is just one burnt cupcake from a breakdown. Not spending my leisure reading navigating that.

it's light, warm, and full of positivity even though it is a murder mystery. and the romance doesn't talking about exaggerated physical attraction like most of crime romance stories do. i even thought there was no romance at all and it's still a great story. i am looking forward to read the next books in this series.
