Lenny is good at being a medium, helping spirits pass, but as a vampire incapable of violence, he's a bit of a joke. A chance encounter runs him afoul of Sebastian Duran, a lunatic who controls other minds better than his own. Torn away from everything he knows, trapped, starved and under constant mental assault, Lenny is forced to face his own potential for monstrosity.
