OMGosh, after a woman raises a child despite a lecher of an ex, she has learned enough that she doesn't help him defend himself from a cat who is defending her from his assault. Her daughter also knows to not tell her father about personal details about her mother. I'm out. Too punishing for the reader by the author.

Loved the cosiness of this book. A community that sticks together. Friends who come to each others aid. Keep writing and I will keep reading.

This book is ok to me. It takes way to long to get into the murders and is just filled with unnecessary details and dialogue.

About the author

Give me a cup of tea, a good book, and a comfortable chair, and I'm happy!

I grew up never far away from an Enid Blyton or Roald Dahl book. These days, though, I read everything from women's fiction and romance to biographies and cookbooks to children's fiction and thrillers.

When I'm not scribbling down ideas for new stories, or tapping away on my laptop, you'll most likely find me with my nose in a book, rustling up something experimental in the kitchen, or out with my rescue dog, George, who has me well and truly wrapped around his little paw.

I currently have two series; The Charlotte Denver Cozy Mystery Series and The Bliss Bay Village Mystery Series.
