Wow
Holly was beyond naive. I can’t believe she didn’t even tell anyone like her parents. Thought she was the “good” daughter. In a way I’m glad that happened to her so she will hopefully be more cautious of strangers and the evil in this world for the next book. It was an interesting story but hard to read because she was just so naive.

This is a prequel novella for Diamond in the Rough, and it whetted my appetite for more! I loved getting the origin story of Holly and Elijah, getting inside Holly’s mind when she was younger and feeling desire for the first time. I definitely recommend reading this novella!
