I'm a crime thriller addict and am not comfortable with the romantic genre.But somewhere around the 100th page I began to see the same story in a different light. It was probably the pain and the relief experienced by the characters and maybe the bit of dark fantasy that all of us crave but none of us actually want. The only thing which bugged me were the nearly rape scenes where I literally cringed. But as a reader and as a female I feel the suffering of the protagonist all the more and the justified hatre

Definitely love the author. This book was really good I couldn't stop reading and often found myself staying up late just to keep going. The character picked up from the trilogy books twist me which are my favorite! In this book, the character is describing his experiences after his get his list of people who be believed had something to do with the killing of his family. Along the way he meets the wife of an enemy on his list and somehow develops an obsessive attraction towards her, determined to keep her.

This couple is literally my favorite out of all three. The story line was amazing and the character backgrounds are good.I immediately fell in love with Peter because of his domineering personality but what I loved most was his really sad background. It suited him perfectly. Honestly, he is waaaaaayyy better than Julian (I never liked Julian). But I'm really looking forward to reading the second book. 😁
