I'd gladly hop in to the back of a windowless van if I knew one of the guys from Black Defense International was coming to my rescue. Well, I might be exaggerating a teeny bit. But, dang these men are so........ manly!! Tallie Grant had noticed the unnerving man watching her. She just thought it was another person staring at her due to her rare condition. Never, did she think she'd find herself drugged and on the sex-trafficking auction block. Now, if the man that bought her thinks for one minute she'll capitulate, he's got another thing coming. But, is he her captor or her savior? Brett Wheeler hates this assignment. Sitting among the worst of the worst, watching each of them bid on women like they were cattle at a farm auction. He's just supposed to infiltrate, learn, and report back. But, when SHE is brought out for the bidding, he can't stop himself from crossing the line to win her from the fate he knows she faces. I devoured this book from start to finish. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, and was awesomely happy about how things turned out. Brett and Tallie were such a great couple. I love that they weren't sure about the other and their feelings for awhile, but they fully embraced it once they let it out. They were so supportive of each other and getting through everything, it was perfection for me. We get more Ian, and he even joins in on some of the action. And of course, we have teases about upcoming books, and I can't wait for more!
