This is the second book in the series. The story is fast-paced and steamy with characters and an excellent story. I loved the intensity of this read and how the characters and the story really drew me in. A good read.

Beneath Submission is book 2 in the Unbreakable series. It can be read as a stand alone, but I definitely recommend reading Beneath Deception first or you will likely be confused in places. I would describe the series as erotic suspense at its best. The story follows the relationship of Xavier and Tessa as they strive to overcome many obstacles that life has thrown at them including threats of violence, blackmail, kidnapping and torture. You have two damaged souls who seem to be made whole when they are together. But Tessa has been lied to her entire life, so she values honesty above all else. When Xavier breaks her trust, can she forgive him? I should mention that this book contains graphic sexual language and situations including rape and torture in case that is outside of your comfort zone. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy a good steamy suspense thriller and second chance romance.

I have read several of A L. Longs books. With everyone that I read it is hotter and sexier than the one before. Bringing us to this wonderful, sexy, hot story. Beneath Submission does not disappoint. If you like suspense, deception and taking twist and turns and not knowing where you will end up - then this book is for you. Xavier London the only man that Tessa Sands gave her heart to. Coming together again does she give him a second chance? Of course we all follow our hearts for a chance for love. Just when things start going wonderfully Collin Gates comes into the picture. This is a must read - See what happens to Tessa when Collin comes into her life and will Xavier get to her in time? From the first word to the last I could not put this book down. As stated before - A. L. Long does it again.

A Fantastic, Must Read Book
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. I was hooked on this book by A. L. Long. I really enjoyed “Beneath Submission” it’s the 2nd book in the (An Unbreakable Series) and a great continuation from the first book. I found myself saying “just one more chapter” until I reached the end. This Story has lots going on that really held my interest and kept me glued till the end. I loved the Interesting, well written Storyline and the great, engaging characters. They had me hooked on their story from the first chapter. It’s an enjoyable, entertaining, intriguing, must Read Romance and I loved reading it.

A tale of lies, submission and perhaps love.
In spite of the dark elements (abduction, sex for money, punishments), this was a surprisingly easy read. I thought the story flowed very well and the writing was well done and easy to read. It also drew me in immediately and pulled me along chapter after chapter. If you haven't read the first book, there will be some background elements that won't make sense at first, but I believe the reader can catch up.
Highly recommended.

A.L Long’s writing seems to be getting hotter and hotter the more I read her. Each book is sexy and so good to read. If your into suspense, deception, twists and turns then this book is a must read. Xavier the the only man Tessa has given her heart to and when they come back to get her does she give him a second chance? What will happen with Colin comes into the picture?

This started out interesting and caught my attention. The more I read it seemed to jump around and for me there seemed to be a disconnect to the next subject. I couldn't catch the flow of the story and kept thinking there was something missing.

A truly memorable story with a tortured female lead. I found this hard to read at times with the treatment she received from Mr. Colin and Simon. I loved her relationship with Xavier. It was an eye opening account through the imagination of this author to what can happen to young women who find themselves without any control over their lives.

I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Continuing on from beneath deception, Tessa takes up the story. If you thought she had been through the mill in part 1’hang on to hat because she’s about to experience a living hell. I don’t want to give anything away but I will say some questions left open are answered in this book.

Tessa and Xavier's story is frought with danger, destruction and twists i didn't see coming. I was so wrapped up in this book I could not put it down. It's an incredible duet.
